Technology In Education

$270 $260

As teachers in the 21st Century, we need to learn 21st Century skills. There are many electronic resources available to teach us these skills. These skills are essential for students to learn in order to become successful technology based citizens. Teachers who have a better grasp on how to implement these skills will be better able to boost their students’ creativity, information fluency, and digital citizenship.  Teachers will:

  • Increase their use of online resources in the classroom.
  • Familiarize themselves with library resources, online catalogs and search engines provided by their district thorough the use of Floyd’s set up.
  • Be introduced to new resources that will increase student participation and enjoyment in the classroom.
  • Learn about new resources to use that will provide evidence and meet the new state standard requirements concerning research methods and the use of technology.
