Online resources can be difficult to navigate let alone include in a lesson. Including online resources proves especially challenging to subject areas in which their curriculum predetermined by New York State. This course will introduce teachers to resources that are readily available from the Internet and their districts, with out being filtered for content. Teachers will also acquire the skills necessary to include these online resources readily into their assignments. They will take each classroom lesson to the next level by increasing student interest and participation. Relevant and contemporary sites will be introduced and/or revisited to assure teachers understanding and use of the sites listed. This class is appropriate for all K-12 educators. |
